Nsips Web Afloat Index – The Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System will function as a central database that stores all reserve and active force personnel information. The NSIPS provides a central system to manage personnel information. The eQIP database is secure and is only accessible by authorized personnel of the sponsoring agency. The e-QIP will give the Navy with information about all active-duty and reserve members of the service.

The NSIPS Navy has a one electronic payment and personnel system. It allows web-enabled access for employees, career guidance, and training information. It is currently deployed on 150 Navy ships. It also connects to the shore network to offer a single point of access to all information regarding each employee.
